Happily Ever After Party in Strongsville
The Karleigh Collective was honored to provide Nicole Heiser and Dominic D’Agostino with photography and videography services for their wedding reception on Sunday, September 3, 2023. Susan Heiser, Nicole’s mom, and I attend the same networking group, as she and her husband, Jim Heiser, own a local business too, Bullseye Activewear and Promotions in Brunswick, Ohio. When Susan found out her daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law needed a photographer, she instantly referred her to me! Nicole and I chatted over a phone call to discuss her big day. She explained they were moving back to Ohio with their two daughters, having a destination wedding, taking a honeymoon, then needed me for their reception where all their family and friends could share in this loving time with them!
Destination Wedding Ceremony & Honeymoon
Nicole and Dom were married on July 21, 2023, at Dreams Macao Beach Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with the love of eleven of their immediate family members to witness their special day. For their honeymoon, they went on a 10-day cruise to Northern Europe. They spent time in Iceland, Norway, and the Netherlands. Then spent a day in London, one in Edinburgh, and a day in Dublin before returning home to Ohio.
All Except the Ceremony
Even though Nicole experienced the getting ready part of a wedding day in Punta Cana with her immediate family, it was imperative to her to make getting ready with her bridesmaids a special part of this day also. She has made many great friendships throughout her journey and she wouldn’t have felt complete without them by her side as her bridesmaids. She had double the amount of bridesmaids to Dom’s groomsmen! In addition, their two daughters helped make their wedding party complete as a junior bridesmaid and a flower girl. While all the ladies were getting ready at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Medina, the gentlemen were getting ready at the two newlyweds’ home nearby.
Fun Wedding Portraits
Once everyone was dressed, we headed outside for Nicole to give all her girls a dress reveal! They were in awe of the beautiful bride. The girls joined the boys on the limo bus from Cleveland Corporate Limo as we headed to our first photo location, Brunswick Lake Park, where we took all of their family photos. Our second location was Mill Stream Run in Strongsville, OH. We really wanted to use a stone wall I had scoped out during timeline creation but there was a party going on in the pavilion area! I asked permission from the family who rented the space and they allowed us to take pictures by the wall! A few other photos on the couples list took place here, including a very important family photo including their two fur babies, Klhoe and Molly, Springer Spaniel dogs.
Our last stop was Albion Woods Picnic Area, also in Strongsville and minutes away from their reception at Belarusan Event Center! We couldn’t resist a few more bride and groom portraits outside the venue before introductions began. Led by DJ Eben, introductions started off the evening followed by the couple’s first dance and cake cutting. Guests enjoyed speeches by several of the wedding party members, a father-daughter dance, a mother-son dance, and a family dance where Nicole, Dom, and their two daughters all danced to a special song. After dinner we played the Reverse Photo Game, this is where the bride and groom stand on the dance floor and with the help of the DJ, one table at a time is called up to them for a quick photo op! Just like the standard photo game, all tables must have a turn before the song is over! Before we knew it, it was time for the TKC team to depart! Congratulations Nicole and Dom!!!
